Come along to discover the wonderful world of gardening, we will show you how to sow seeds, and teach you weird and interesting facts about gardening.

You will go on a fun filled plant hunt around the garden centre exploring a variety of plants in the process. You will then have the chance to see one of the most amazing plants in the world, The Sensitive Plant Mimosa pudica. You will also get the chance to make your very own cress head using eggs and cress seeds.

Did you know: The word mimosa comes from the Greek word mimos or "mimic," referring to the moving leaves that mimic animal's sensitivity.
